About Bikram Hot Yoga Prahran

The studio is a welcoming space where every student is encouraged and nourished in their practice.

All of our instructors are qualified yoga teachers and can help guide your individual yoga and health goals to tailor a program that suits your lifestyle and needs.

Facilities

We have two beautiful heated studios to provide you with a range of yoga styles to suit your individual needs..

BYP provides full male and female bathroom facilities including showers. Towel and mat hire are available if you simply wish to walk in and walk out after class. Hydrating drink options are available for purchase at the studio and free lockers are provided to secure your belongings during class.

 

Yoga any way you like it

Bikram Yoga, Bikram 60, Hatha Flow, Hot Hatha, and Hot Yin yoga classes are all covered under your standard membership package.  Please bring a mat, towel and water to class
(these items are also available for hire / to buy at the studio).

Bikram Yoga

About Bikram Hot Yoga

Reduce stress and reinvigorate your energy levels with the original and authentic Bikram Hot Yoga, conducted at a hot 40 degrees and 40% humidity. This 90 minute class of classic yoga postures will improve flexibility, increase metabolism, heal injuries, and burn calories.

Bring your towel because the best results are worth sweating for.

Suitable for all levels including beginners.

Mat and towel hire available for those who just want to walk in and walk out.

About bikram 60

Looking to detoxify or burn some serious calories? Then bring your towel and be prepared to get sweaty with our BIKRAM 60 class, complete with a sauna-like setting of 40 degrees and 40% humidity.

This class follows the classic 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises of the Bikram series but condensed into a one hour class.

Suitable for all levels including beginners.

Mat and towel hire available for those who just want to walk in and walk out.

Hatha Flow

About Hatha Flow

Express yourself with our 60 minute Hatha Flow class which combines classical Hatha postures with movement. Hatha Flow helps lengthen and tone your muscles whilst flushing your internal organs, and boosting the body’s yogic energy system.

Hatha Flow is perfect for those new to flow, yet also offers enough challenge to those seeking to work deeper into their ‘vinyasa’.

Bring your mat and towel or hire from the studio if you just want to walk in and walk out.

Classes are conducted at 28-30 degrees.

 

Hot Hatha

About Hot Hatha

Our 75 minute Hot Hatha class is a set sequence of yoga poses that includes Sun Salutes, twists, forward and back bends, inversions and arm balance postures. Improve your core strength, and cleanse and balance the energy channels of your body with this complete practice.


Suitable for all levels including beginners. Hot Hatha classes are conducted at 28-30 degrees.

Hot Yin Yoga

About Hot Yin

Hot Yin is a deeply relaxing class of sweet stretches conducted in a toasty warm room. Yin postures increase circulation to the joints to improve flexibility and mobility, and are also designed to improve the flow of qi, the subtle energy said in Chinese medicine to run through the meridian pathways of the body. Improved qi flow harmonises organ health, the immune system, and emotional well-being.

Yin is the perfect complement to yang (more energetic) forms of exercise.

Kundalini Yoga

About Kundalini

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word that translates as “primal energy”. This energy resides at the base of the spine. Kundalini Yoga, under the direction of an experienced teacher, arouses this energy in a controlled way, using a blend of spiritual and physical practices – movement (kriyas), dynamic breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, vibration (mantras), and relaxation (savasana) – with the aim of strengthening, cleansing and purifying the physical body, nerves, glands and mind. The goal is to develop vitality, awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength.

Bring your mat (or hire one at the studio) for this one hour pure yoga bliss experience in our cosy warm studio.
